LED displays are comprised of individual LED’s, referred to as pixels. These Pixels are either DIP, SMD or COB.
DIP is the best and brightest on the market and is perfect for outdoor fixed installation signs. We recommending using DIP signage when the screen will be used from a far distance and the height is at least 2’. The only disadvantage of DIP is that 10mm* is the highest resolution. If you need something more clear or for indoor, you’ll have to use SMD.
*For DIP346 the highest resolution currently available is 10mm. Several years ago there were DIP246 P8 and DIP146 P6.67 but those were discontinued.
