Olympian LED, Inc. – Limited Warranty

1. Warranty Coverage

This Limited Warranty (“Warranty”) is provided by Olympian LED, Inc. (“Olympian”) to the original purchasing dealer, reseller, or sign company (“Customer”) that purchases LED display products (“Products”) directly from Olympian LED, Inc.

Olympian warrants that the Products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the applicable start date defined below (the “Warranty Period”).

The Warranty Period shall commence on the earlier of:

  • Four (4) weeks from the date the Product arrives at the Customer’s delivery address, as verified by shipping documentation; or
  • The date of Substantial Completion, if installation or commissioning is performed by Olympian LED.

This timeframe allows dealers adequate time to install the display while establishing a definitive warranty start date.

This Warranty remains valid for the Customer regardless of any ownership or occupancy changes at the installation site, provided the original purchasing Customer remains in business.
This Warranty is not transferable to any end-user, new business owner, or other third party without the express written consent of Olympian LED.

2. Scope of Warranty

This Warranty applies to hardware components only. Olympian, at its sole discretion, will repair or replace defective components with new or refurbished parts of equal or greater performance. No labor, travel, or installation services are included under this Warranty.

Covered components include (but are not limited to):

  • LED display modules
  • Power supplies
  • Data and controller cards
  • Control system interface components supplied by Olympian LED
  • Internal cabling included as part of the original shipment

Replacement parts may be new or reconditioned and are warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period or ninety (90) days, whichever is longer.

3. Defects; LED Pixel Failures

A Defective Pixel is defined as a pixel in which all constituent LEDs (red, green, and blue elements) cease to emit light.
A pixel exhibiting only partial degradation — such as one color channel failing, dimming, or reduced brightness due to aging — is not considered a Defective Pixel.

This Warranty does not cover brightness reduction or color shift due to normal operation over time.

If the number of Defective Pixels in a display exceeds 0.5% of the total pixel count during the first year, or 1.0% in any subsequent year, Olympian will, at its discretion, replace the affected LED modules (parts only).

4. Exclusions

This Warranty does not apply to:

  1. Labor of any kind (including diagnosis, removal, reinstallation, or travel).
  2. Normal wear and tear, pixel degradation, or brightness reduction within industry tolerances.
  3. Cosmetic issues that do not affect operation.
  4. Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, negligence, accidents, vandalism, fire, flood, lightning, or other acts of nature.
  5. Electrical issues including power surges, improper grounding, or voltage outside rated specifications.
  6. Third-party systems or devices such as networking equipment, wireless links, external cabling, or data processors not supplied by Olympian LED.

5. Warranty Service Procedure

  1. Customer must contact Olympian LED Technical Support for diagnostic assistance and obtain a Return Material Authorization (“RMA”) number before returning any part.
  2. No return will be accepted without a valid RMA issued by Olympian LED.
  3. If a part is determined to be defective under warranty, Olympian will issue an RMA and provide return instructions.
  4. Customer is responsible for shipping defective parts to Olympian; Olympian will pay standard ground return freight for verified warranty claims within the continental United States.
  5. If a returned part is found non-defective, Customer shall pay outbound and return freight charges.
  6. Failure to return defective parts within thirty (30) days of receiving replacements may result in additional charges.

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the display for service or part replacement.
  • Maintain electrical, grounding, and environmental conditions per Olympian LED specifications.
  • Maintain a safe site and schedule work only under non-hazardous conditions; Olympian LED is not obligated to perform work in adverse weather or unsafe locations.
  • Retain documentation of delivery and installation dates for verification of warranty eligibility.

7. Force Majeure

Olympian LED shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform under this Warranty if such delay or failure is caused by Force Majeure events including, but not limited to, acts of God, labor disputes, supply chain interruptions, pandemics, government actions, transport delays, or any circumstance beyond its reasonable control.

8. Limitation of Liability

This Warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty for Olympian LED Products and supersedes all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

In no event shall Olympian LED be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of revenue, profit, or use, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Olympian’s total liability under this Warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the defective Product.

Any claim or legal action arising out of this Warranty must be commenced within one (1) year after the cause of action accrues.

9. Optional Extended Services

Dealers or end users may purchase Extended Service Agreements providing on-site labor coverage, preventive maintenance, and expedited support. Olympian may suspend or terminate Extended Service coverage if Customer fails to comply with payment, access, or maintenance requirements.
These services are not included in this Limited Warranty.

10. Entire Agreement

This Limited Warranty constitutes the entire agreement between Olympian LED and the Customer and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous representations or communications, whether oral or written, relating to the Products. No agent or representative of Olympian LED has authority to alter the terms of this Warranty.
