Description
Introducing the MR1750.
Cloud-managed 802.11ac WiFi.
The Open-Mesh MR1750 is a cloud managed, dual band, 802.11ac mesh-capable access point that includes hardware watchdog, standard 802.3af POE support and a single Gigabit Ethernet port.
With the ability to support up to 50-100 simultaneous users, this access point is ideal for dense, high-traffic locations such as retail and office spaces, schools, shopping malls and hospitality venues.
The MR1750 is cloud managed and includes a free license for CloudTrax, Open-Mesh’s cloud-based network controller. Now you can deploy access points in minutes and build, manage and monitor your network from anywhere.
“802.11ac-Ready” at launch
The MR1750 is our 802.11ac replacement for the MR900. At launch, expect similar throughput performance to the popular MR900. Future firmware updates will be able to unlock its performance potential with no hardware upgrades required. The MR1750 allows you to future-proof your networks with ac hardware, with no increase in price over the 802.11n version.

Highlights:
Deploy concurrent 2.4GHz + 5GHz ac-ready networks to let newer phones, tablets and laptops fly while still supporting legacy devices.
The MR1750 is available in a 3×3, 450+1300 Mbps MIMO configuration for strong performance, even over mesh.
An included wall/ceiling mount, along with an optional outdoor enclosure, make for easy installations indoors and out.
Includes a license for CloudTrax, Open-Mesh’s cloud-based network controller. No on-site server required.
Automatically prioritize streaming traffic such as video and voice with integrated Layer 7 QOS at the network edge.
With device fingerprinting, you’ll know who is on your network in terms of device operating system, name, bandwidth used and more.
Mesh technology enables access points to work together to form a self-organizing, self-healing wireless network.
White label for systems integrators, resellers and IT consultants. No logos or links on boxes or access points.
Support for standard 802.3af PoE to power your access points up to 350 feet away over a single Ethernet cable. Great for PoE switches.
Multiple SSIDs allow you to broadcast up to four unique networks, some “public” and some “private.”
Custom-branded splash pages automatically scale to fit any device, or use Facebook Wi-Fi to let users check-in to your page before using the web for free.
Automated outage alerts by email if any access point goes down and doesn’t come back up within an hour.
Authenticate users with WPA2 or WPA-Enterprise security; charge for access, use vouchers and connect to your hotel PMS system1.
Set upload and download caps on each user and block individual abusive devices to ensure there is enough bandwidth available for everyone.
Built-in firewall prevents users on the public network from seeing each other or your wired network by default.
Build, manage and monitor your networks from anywhere with free iOS and Android applications.
The MR1750 is backwards compatible with OM2P and most later OM Series devices2 (requires firmware upgrade) and MR600 and later MR Series devices, so you can run them on the same network. For optimal range, the MR1750 will mesh with other devices over the 2.4 GHz band only.
We recommend powering this unit with standard 802.3af PoE. It is also compatible with the 24v universal power supply (add-on option). This access point is not compatible with Open-Mesh passive PoE injectors.
