P10 Common Cathode LED Display
Description
Our latest generation of P10 signs is using Common Cathode technology. Common cathode technology allows us to give the LED only the power it needs: 2.5v for Red and 3.8V for Blue and Green. Previously, all screens used 5v and this was wasted as extra heat and power consumption. There are additional costs with this system because of multiple power supplies being required but the overall reliability and lifespan is increased.
We use the Chipone ICND2049 and ICND2019 to achieve this result.
