LED Sending Cards (Synchronous)

Synchronous control systems require a constant DVI input from either an embedded PC or media player to feed the content. The video signal is then sent via ethernet cable to a receiving card. The receiving card then requires a HUB card to send the data over a flat ribbon cable to an LED module.

An asynchronous system has embedded flash memory and the playlist is stored permanently on this device. Usually a HUB card can be attached directly to the main async card without the need for a receiving card. Async cards with 2 ethernet ports support receiving cards, allowing for larger display support and double sided displays.
